What is Justice?

Justice is the something that is accomplished by the people. Justice is honor. Its something that cant be accomplished or seen just by the wave of a wand. It involves hard work, determination and strength. We the people are those who make justice and make our community fair. If we feel that justice hasn’t been made its only because we aren’t working hard enough.

I believe that American Society is as fair as it can get. There are many things for example: immigration laws, and same sex marriage laws that would help shape American to be what it is. A free country. But it doesn’t always seem that way because we are tied down by certain laws that don’t let us be happy.

Sometimes crimes aren’t always justified. Whatever the crime might be. In most cases the poor man is left behind bars, while the rich man pays off bail and is left with a warning and continues to do as he pleases.

If there is enough proof that can support the person and show that it was an accident then yes, the crime should be punished differently. But there should still be some sort of punishment.

Age sometimes doesn’t really matter. Give a kid a lolly pop and he might do it. Kids are always looked at as the innocence of the world, but It isn’t always that way. There are many little kids that do bad things. Its obvious that a 5 year old doesn’t know any better and doesn’t even know what it means to commit a crime. I believe that by the age of 8 you should know better and know that you shouldn’t do certain things. As for being tried as an adult, I believe a reasonable age would be 15 or16.

About two years ago I had a very harsh argument with my father which ended horribly. Since then we have not spoken or seen each other. I guess our egos are too big that we haven’t even tried to contact one another. There are times I do wish to speak to him but I don’t. There is no way that I would forgive him for the unfair, hurtful things he said to me and my mom. No way. I’m his daughter and I should be given more respect. He had no right to say the things he said. The fair outcome would have been, him acting like an adult and answering yes or no the simple question I had. All I asked of him was to give a small amount of money In cooperation towards my sweet sixteen. That’s all, and he didn’t have to, we asked if he could and he went ballistic.
